Coaching for Women in Perimenopause, Menopause & Post Menopause

Together, we'll explore how hormonal changes affect our executive functions and we will uncover strategies for managing overwhelm, improving organisation, regulating emotions, reducing burnout, and reconnecting with the person beneath all of the responsibilities.
This is about understanding your brain, working with your changing hormones, and creating a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with who you are today.

A Hot Mess: ADHD and menopause support for women
I'm one of the co-founders of A Hot Mess, created for women who are juggling it all: the hormones, the brain fog, the chaos, and the perfect storm that comes with ADHD and midlife.
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
"The workshop was informative and incredibly supportive. Jac and Fi provided a very safe space to educate, support, and share. It is literally the first time in my life I have felt heard, understood, and listened to."

“I had been in burnout again for around 7–8 months. After exhausting countless other options, I felt like I had nothing to lose by trying an ADHD coach. I was diagnosed with ADHD and autism around 1.5 years ago, and so far I have had five coaching appointments with Fiona, one per week.
Of all the avenues I have tried, this has been by far the most helpful. I realised that I need support, accountability, and someone who genuinely understands and hears the struggles I face. Fiona’s skill set, knowledge, and ability to understand and communicate with neurodivergent people have been a huge part of why this has been so effective for me. She knows how to ask the right questions and help me gain my own insights, rather than simply telling me what I should do.
I experienced an almost immediate improvement. Before starting coaching, I was regularly finding myself physically unable to move from the couch for 3–4 days at a time. The coaching has also led to my own epiphanies and choices throughout each week—small changes that add value to my life and support the things I actually want for myself.
Fiona is incredibly easy to talk to and comforting to be around. I am so grateful for the support, accountability, and understanding I have received. I would highly recommend Fiona to anyone who is struggling to function, or wanting to better understand and manage their ADHD, autism, or burnout.”

Identifying what's working (and what's not)
Understanding why challenges occur
Developing personalised strategies
Experimenting with new approaches
Reviewing progress without judgment
Building confidence and self-awareness over time
The aim isn't perfection, it is progress, it's finding sustainable ways to make everyday life feel more manageable.

ADHD coaching can help with everyday challenges such as getting started, managing time, staying organised, remembering things and following through on plans.
We can also explore overwhelm, emotional regulation, confidence and the routines that support you. What we focus on will depend on what matters most to you.

As an ADHD Coach (and a person who has ADHD) I understand that we can struggle with our Executive Function skills. This must be considered when coaching a person with ADHD as it is not as simple as just setting goals. Executive Function challenges must be supported while goals are being achieved.
We can struggle with getting started, maintaining focus, completing goals (amongst other challenges)

Yes. Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes in sleep, mood, memory and concentration. If you have ADHD, it may feel as though the strategies that used to work are no longer enough. Coaching gives us space to make sense of what’s happening, adjust your routines and find practical ways to support yourself through this stage of life. Coaching can sit alongside medical care; if you’d like advice about symptoms or treatment, your healthcare professional is the right person to speak with.
