About meLike many women, I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until I was an adult.
I am a mother of two beautiful daughters, and after noticing similarities between myself and one of my daughters, who was diagnosed with ADHD, I sought a diagnosis.
My journeyFrom diagnosis to coaching
After my diagnosis, I became very frustrated, wondering why I couldn’t consistently implement strategies to help my daughter or myself. I wasn’t yet aware of how my executive function is impacted by ADHD. This was the start of my journey to learn more about ADHD and executive function, leading me to the ADD Coaching Academy in New York.
I am now a qualified ADHD Coach and I have completed the Fundamentals of ADHD Coaching for Families through the ADD Coaching Academy in New York. I work with adults, young adults, students, teens, and families.
Alongside my private coaching practice, I am also part of the multidisciplinary team at Totally Psyched, supporting teens and their families. I also work with selected students at Future School, helping young people develop the executive function skills needed to thrive personally.
I am also a Co-Founder of A Hot Mess. A Hot Mess provides education and support for women navigating ADHD and Menopause. https://ahotmess.co.nz/
